Hi it's my first time growing and i was thinking what would happen if at the time of harvest you only cut the buds and leave the plant alive??

yes its called reveggin...but you need to leave a few buds an leafs on the lowerst branches..transplant back into a smaller comtainer cut the root ball...add high nitro an put it back on 18-6..after a couple weeks your plants should show signes of new veg growth

If you don't do it right, it turns into a gigantic hermaphroditic monster that blooms forever but doesn't produce a single smokable bud. I learned the hard way; cuttings are easy.

i cut the upper stuff first, give the bottoms a few weeks more while i'm "busy" with the the first cut. works everytime. if you cut to far down you will only have a bunch of leaves that you can plant out front of your house for decoration. its your plant, experiment for a while, don't take eveyone else's advice as gospel.

from what i've read, it seems like the general feeling is that the juice may not be worth the squeeze when it comes to revegging a plant for reharvesting. might be cool to try for the sake of experimentation, but overall, cloning has to be the best way to keep a particular strain going.
