what does she want to eat ???

i am still trying to get the hang of this.

my first 3 attempts were not a total failure but they ended in nut lockout and stopped ripening around week 10 of flower. the leaves turned yellow and soft. each time was a little less worse but i really want to get one of these to go good all the way through.

my current is:

150w light purple kissel to start for 4 weeks then under the HPS
bc god bud
in a GH water farm
i check everyday and make sure the PH is between 5.8 and 6.2
week 4
i have been feeding with GH 1/2 strength lucas + 3ml of pro tect /GAL
then last week started with full strength (8micro 16 bloom) + 3ml pro tect + 2ml liquid koolboom
when i top off with fresh water the ppms are going down....
well the leaves are dark green and the tips are turning down. i now at least know thats a bad thing....
i drained her out and filled with phed water + 3ml of florakleen per 2.5 gal
should i let this go until the leave tip stop pointing down?
tell me what to feed so she makes it all the way to the end

Sounds like your roots are the problem. Start running a type of bennies and they should perk up for ya

Sounds like you might have given them toi much food. Try going back to 50% nute sooution like you were when they were healthy. Once they recover maybe try bumping it to 75%. Also past week 4 up your ph to 6.0 for better P & K uptake. the leaves will pribabky start to yellow or brown on the tips in a coupke days from the overfeeding. Nothin to do but correct the problem

The clawing of leaves is a tradional sign of too much nutes. The affected leaves will not really look normal again, pay attention to the new growth.

I use lucas as well.. but I increase slower.. I start off with 2/4 then after a few weeks do 4/8.. then a week or two before flower go full 8/16.. I dont start the Koolbloom till flower and i add 5ml/g.. I also add 5ml/g of calmag the entire grow starting after seedling stage.

When you add fresh water the ppm is supposed to fall because of whats been eaten plus you added no nutes only water.. I rotate my water every 2 weeks and give them fresh nutes all the way thru unless there is a drastic change to ppm.. You can also use a formula to figure out what to add.

Also dont try to fix symptoms(like change what you currently see) focus on new growth if the symptoms stop your doing good..

Lucas works great have used it for 5+ years.. until I am used to a strain I always go light with dosing stuff and see how it acts tho..
