What does it mean when the tops of branches are red?

What does it mean when the top halfs of the top branches look kinda rough and red? Too much water? Not enough? Too close to the light?

A couple of my plants started doing the same thing. Only it looks really defined as if someone sprinkled some red powder on them. And it is rough. There are a few nute probs that give red stems just like there are so many that give yellow tips.It could also just be a strain trait. Sorry I can't help. At least I sent it to the top.

Its nothing, its just reacting to the fan blowing at it. I get red branches all the time. And its too early to determine sex.
