next grow i was gonna grow 4 instead of 1 which i am doin now.. i say a 150 hps for 50 bucks..can i use this from the begging 24/0 for two weeks then go into veggin for 3 or 4 weeks at 18/6 then go into flowering 12/12 for 8 weeks. is the 150watt hps enough light for 4 plants or is it too much light? please let me know thanks

the hps is great for flowering....... but I would start your veg with daylight cfl's at 18/6, then flower with the hps... you should have some nice results that way.

would 12 26watt daylight cfl 6500k for 4 plants be enough for veggin? or should i grab a couple more.. or could i get like 5 cool blue specturm 100 watt cfls

Yes... and Yes =]

Actually you can start with just one 26w cfl per plant at the biggening, and add cfl's as they grow. Keep the cfl's close to the plants at all times.. about 2' away.

Or..

You can start all 4 plants, under one 100w cfl... and add another 100wcfl as they grow and so on.

alright word..thanks for all the help right now i have one female plant about 20 inches tall 15 inches wide shes under 4 42 watt cfls and 3 23 watt cfls and a 27 watt heat lamp 12/12 switchin over to flowerng with 742 watt cfls 12/12 using fox farm big bloom and i need alll the help i can get..does it sound like im on the right track so far?

Sounds good... what kind of cfl's are they... daylight/softwhite?

and I wouldn't use the heat lamp unless you need the heat?

any pics of your girl? =]

my camera is broke im deff tryn to get some pics of and when i do il let you know but the cfls are softwhite..which should be used for flowering not veggin right? i did not know that when i bought the bulbs but im just gonna wait til next grow to do it completely right

I'm sure she is going to enjoy the softwhites while she flowers... I'm sure she'll give you some nice sticky buds... good luck man, and I hope you can get some pics of her flowered.
