What do you think??? Can this be done???

Wa Gwan

starting new grow!!!
My grow consists of 2 4x4 areas with 400watt lights in each.

One area is for flowering the other for vegging. Since the budding stage is 12hr on/off period, can I use one 400watt lights and rotate two sets of plants splitting the 24hrs of light 50/50???

If I could do this, I could have 2 400watt lights flowering 2 batches of plants on 12hrs of light and get another small light for vegging clones waiting to go into flowering...So 2 batches using 2 lights for 12hrs, and then switching to the other 2 batches for there 12 hrs...when flowering plants are not under lights, I'd have another separate area of just darkness.

People let me know pros and cons of this setup???

Also:
1. Can plants in vegging stage use low wattage lights or even something that doesn't use so much energy???

2. How much yield will I get with 16 plants under a 400watt light for flowering and well maintained???

3. Is it dangerous to move plants from a lighted area to a dark area??? Should they stay where they are and only switch lights on/off???

4. Does a reflector intensify the light???

ppl do that just gotta have sumwhere to put em fer 12 hr dark but it seems like a lot of work to keep up with so might not be yer best idea

cant guess yeild to many variabls 2 oz per plant is what i get per plant under a 400 in a 3x3, 4x4 is doable but could be 600w
it could be dangerouse to move plants if you forget and have em all on fucked up scheduals

reflectors help a lot so does reflective material on the walls espetially if yer doin a 400 in a 4x4...... need all the light you can get, lost light is just lost but reflected light kicks ass

depends i do diffrnt things all the time. i dnt weigh my harvest anymore,,, no need to
sometimes i do but usually not, ive gotten like 14oz at most and usually do like 6 and have from 1-6 plants depending on how im growin em (lst,suppercroped,ect.)

And how long does ur harvest take, I'm looking at 2-3 weeks veg and then then 8 weeks flowering??? What do you think???

you prolly pull an ounce per plant like that easy do a sog lolipoped plants and put as many as you can fit in there

i veg fer 2 months usually in a seperate room while the flowering ones flower.. 65 days usually but flower times change from strain to strain

I had a friend that did this with hydro and the way he did it was actually really interesting. Instead of moving the lights he had all the plants on two trays that were on carts. Just wheeled the carts from room to room twice a day.

Easier just to buy more lights though.

This is true but more lights means more $$$...and for the sea of green method I here weather you put 20 or 40 plants your quantity of budd will be the same???

if you top em and grow em bigger it would be the same.
