What do you see in the future?

Good day all , I always check this forum while on this site, and lately I realized that I have less and less to say...No ofense Vi and Med but I think by endlessly quoting contradictory information from contradictory sources you ended up alleinating most of us regular folks and proving only that both partyes are corrupt and the sistem doesnt work anymore...But most of us already knew this...Consequently any debate about existing sistem is pointless, cos in my opinion its beyond repair...So I've desided to start the thread on what people will think the country will look like in 10 to 15 years, consider it an exercize in fiction ,you can follow the path of logic ( my oproach) or come completly of the wall and out of the blue, at least it will be something fresh and different...

I see no hope for freedom in this country. Even though millions are seeking out refuge in this country to enjoy what freedoms we have left, the American mind-set has been dumbed down. Most citizens, even though born here, have no understanding of the Constitution, or the intent of the founders. Instead of "doers," we have become watchers of TV, and that little idiot box tells the average American what to think. Newspapers and TV are written and presented with a 4th grade reading and comprehension level in mind. How many can name their Congressman? How many can read a book beyond the 6th grade level? How many really know from where their rights come? Today, its all about "I want it now." "I want mine without sacrifice." "What do you mean, there's no free lunch?"

Unless we change drastically, the Dark Ages are ahead for us.

OK the year is 2022 , after the neuclear attack on New York by muslim terrorists , (according to the media), the martial law has been declared nation wide, sitizens rights like the right to bear arms and freedom of assembly and free travel have been revoked and state power have been taken away by the fed...Several wars were also consecuently started and continued for several years, the draft is reenstated and armed squads of U.S. army recruters travel the countryside kidnapping anyone between the ages 15 and 65...Food , electricity and feul are excessively hard to come by and are beeng rationed...The overvelming government control and shortages gave rise to organised crime, which flurished under theese conditions, it turned from semi legal mob tipe organizations that were lawered up to the teeth to a paramilitary organization armed to the teeth (the need for lawers cind of diminished since anyone suspected of beeng envolved is executed on the spot) There are clashes between the army and the mob, but the line between the two is increasingly blurred, sinse the army comanders are often employed on the side by rival factions...The cities become increasingly empty since the population started to mouve to the contry in search of food, the dollar has no value , and most small industrial plants that are still open in the cities operate on barter sistem...

Could happen, but for me, I'll most likely be worm food. My kids and grandkids will have to cope.

Speaking of kids ,in 2022 ther will be no education sistem as we know it there will be small inegrated schools for a poor majority the kids can only attend when they are not helping with farming, however the rich minority will have highly advanced research and education facilityes where kids from young age will learn newest technologies like cloning and nano tech, of course these technologies will be kept secret by the select wealthy few and adventually will be elevated to a religious level...

i just think it's so strange how focused on "right now" people have become. i don't comprehend the entitlement philosophy, the notion of being self-absorbed to the point of building one's entire life around small trophies and material things or frivolous social badges.

tomorrow is the big deal, the future is all we really have because the future is where our kids go and our kids kid's. they are the ones who are entitled and we are the ones who entitle them to exactly what we leave behind.

until people begin to care about what really matters, nothing matters.

Well said ...I agree 100%

The self serving Narcissism that is promoted in our culture is only helping to destroy our country.

Ok how about this. I'll stick with your date, although I think some of this is already true.

In 2022 cameras will be everywhere. Wherever there's an open window, six different cameras from six different angles will stare into your homes, places of work, public and private schools, and everywhere else imaginable. All pets of all kinds will be prohibited based on the Animal Intelligence Law (AIL) passed in April 2021, because aparrently all animals are dangerous to our health and can cause cancer, along with the "rising amount of animals with rabies worldwide." The real reason for the prohibition of pets is of course because animals were found to be superior to humans when a small group of scientists deciphered whale calls which read as follows; "I talked to frank the other day." "Yeah? how is he, I heard he made friends with the new guy who did tricks for humans." "That's right, but the humans are so chaotic, he said he saw two humans fight." "fight? that's crazy. Haven't they learned that fighting just causes more pain in the longrun? Even the monkeys realize that, and they're kind of slow." "I wish we could tell these humans what they're doing wrong, but if we did it might hurt us, who knows what would happen if they knew about us?"

The scientists knew this information had to be kept secret or the world would be changed, complete chaos would ensue. So all animals are being hunted and killed, and since they're so peaceful and intelligent, they never made weapons of mass destruction so they go into hiding to wait out the human invasion while the ignorant citizen's of the world sit comfortably, a little bit sad at the loss of their beloved pets but relieved they're animals were taken away before the disease could spread.

I hope to see Marijuana legalized soon in Canada! That is about the only positive thing our government is working these days other than spending a shit load of money on nuclear energy.
I see the middle east, terrorist threat dissovled. Either by the US blowing them off the map or someone else doing it.
A woman for Prime Minister! And Quebec leaving Canada!
Most of this is a wishlist, lol.

For a glimps into posible futures read:

1. "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. This book gives an understanding of a world run by "The Regulators."

2. "Anthem" by Ayn Rand. This book gives on an insightful look into the mindset of Islamofascists.

3. "1984" by George Orwell. And here we get an insight into living in a totalitarian state.

All three books present many parallels to today.

actually mexico sucks ass. the mexican government and people do nothing to improve their own country but instead looks at us to do it for them. only good parts of mexico are the tourist destinations but just a few miles outside of those it goes back to being a dump. why do you think there are 12 million illegals here?

Hey hempie I guess we wont reach aggreement on this one , I personaly avoid tourist destinations at all cost, god damn ripofs, and you miss out on real people and character of the contryside, as far as the dump...Well I guess one mans dump is another mans paradise, personally I dont mind living in a shack and going in an outhouse, as long as the waves are high, food is fresh and herb is banging, not to mention the local senioritas...
