what do you do with your leaves?

hi guys, i was just wondering what you do with the leaves and stem when you have harvested your plants. i have read that organic materials are best to grow your plants in so would they gain anything from chopping up the leaves and stem and mixing them with the soil. has anyone ever made soil out of old plant waste?

i save them up throughout the plants life, and after harvest i dump everything in the compost bin

You could also dry them, powder them, and make hash oil.
Compost works too if you don't like smoking the leaves.

the real big fan leaves get thrown into the field next to my house and all the smaller fan leaves and sugar leaves get made into bubble hash and dry sift hash.

fan leaves are best for the compost, and leaves off buds are best for hash
