Was he talking about guns too? Lots of lead poisoning comes from that source.

Anyway, bills to address replacing lead pipes were stalled by Republicans in congress.

What's your point?

Didn't watch the video.
Lead pipes are such an obvious hazard. The Lincoln Project should hammer this and other R public health obstructions. The party that wants Americans dead.

The water company here does free testing to monitor lead levels in your home. Mine aren't great, under the guidelines but not by as much as I would like.

Now who wants to huff some gas and jump off the roof?!?!?!

I dont have lead pipes but i do have bronze, potable approved plastic and some type of braided steel lines. Not sure what's worse? Don't they all leach stuff and react with each other?

Consider the solubilities and toxicities of the materials you’ve listed. Your argument fails on two fronts: quantity of materials being leached, and their specific toxic doses.

This is one that has to be answered quantitatively, and step 1 is getting your water from the tap analyzed.

Lead is reactive, soluble and more toxic than anything you’ve listed, unless your bronze is brass. Brass from India and probably China is leaded.

Its rain water i collect in a concrete tank. Arguable the cleanest rain water in the world.

I have no idea on metals their carcinogenic or how they react with another. People used to paint their houses in lead paint and it was in our petrol till not long ago. Plastic anything cannot be good.
