Hi all,

What materials can I add to boost just P ratios a bit... looking for a supplement or booster, preferably in liquid form... want to boost just P so i can even out my ratios and add a little extra during veg to prevent leaf damage.

do you know of any? i browsed around on a few mfg's sites and didn't see anything that didn't include N or K as well...

thanks!

hi there,

thanks for the reply. i actually have some of that already, but it is a K supplement, not P (0-0-3). good stuff though! i love it for foliar

Rarely do mj plants need much P beyond what is in a basic NPK fert, in fact, most have too much. You don't want more than ~ 30ppms unless you are recirculating your nutes. In that regard, higher PKwill act as a buffer, but if you D2W then higher PK is not necessary.

Hi PetFlora,

Thanks for the follow up. I agree most ferts have too much P (especially bloom ferts), but others might have too little. I just did some big plants of White Widow and saw clear signs of P deficiency during veg, using AN Sensi Grow A&B (combined 5-2-5) in DWC. It's a good price, and all the nutrients entailed within are either chelated or water soluble, so it's easy for plants to absorb. I figured perhaps there was just a specific P supplement I could add to help prevent similar damage in the future. At first I thought the leaf damage was due to a slime infection attaching the roots, but I was very wrong! lol

Optionally I was thinking about switching to a different nutrient brand in the future. I've heard a lot of good stuff about the Dutch Master Gold line.

Thanks again PetFlora!
