what can cause hermies??????

hi it can get hot in my area around 40 degrees or 104 in farenheit. I am woindering if the light times were 8pm to 8am would that put more stress on the plants then 8am to 8pm.
my reasons for starting at 8pm to 8am was becasue the temps r the hottest during the day but would it potentially cause them to turn hermie because they rnt used to being at their hottest whilst it is still dark
any opinions or input is appreciated
 
You're asking if it matters what time of day you cycle your 12/12?

Doesn't matter my friend :) Run your lights when it's coolest, for sure!

indeed, and you really need to lower your temps right now. thats way too hot. the 12/12 can be at any time you choose and i must say this once again......you need to fix your temps RIGHT NOW!!!
 
i know the temps r a serious problem but i am and anyonme else who saw them would be suprised too at how well everything is going for the high temps but i cant wait to see what happens when the temps are in are lower. i also have to setup the diy co2 bottle just gotta get some yeast but thanks for the info

u wouldnt happen nto be in ozstraya barry?
there are growers here who grow in 40degree temps, i think the info is if u can keep the root zone cool then ur ok
 
where i live is irrelevant and i cant put photos on, main reason is for the risk, as im unaware of the risk that comes with displaying fotos and anything else that can land people in trouble but if u guys have any tips on going about that let me know
