What building materials to use for grow room floor, cieling, and walls?

I am converting a small out building into a grow room. The current floor is just plywood over the dirt so I am going to put in an insulated floor, a lid for a cieling, and walls.

I'm thinking of sheet rocking the walls with maybe 1/2 inch rock, fire taping, and painting.

As for the lid, I was thinking of using a 1/2 inch OSB secured to the cieling joists so that I can hang things off it anywhere with pretty good support.

And for the floor, was thinking OSB because it is cheap, but then again, I worry about water. Going to use ebb and grow system.

Any thoughts on better materials to use for the floor, walls, and lid?

Thank you!

I'd just put panda film on the plywood walls. Much cheaper and easier to deal with than drywall. Doesn't show spots like Mylar does. And if it gets nasty for any reason, you can tear it down and replace.

Sounds like a great call. Do you know if it makes any difference if I use traditional plywood or a cheaper sheeting material like manufactured chip board like OSB, outside board? If not, I'll go the cheaper route. Thanks.

i did my closet out of plywood on all 6 sides. i've got mylar hanging right now but as soon as i can it will be getting painted flat white. if you use sheetrock for the walls go for the 5/8 green board that they use in bathrooms and kitchens. you're going to get water on the floor so go with the plywood and and seal it.
