What are Your Thoughts on This Nutrient?

I heard high nitrogen levels are good for plants in their vegetative stage.

I want to use organic nutes and apparently this bloodmeal powder stuff looks good. I read on the box that it should be mixed with the soil when making a soil mixture, but can I mix it with water and add it whenever I need to water my plants? Here it is: http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/2/OutdoorLiving/Garden-Care/Fertilizers/PRD~0592156P/C-I-L+Blood+Meal%2C+2+kg.jsp?locale=en

So can mix this with water and water my plants with it, is it okay or would you reccommend me using other types of nutes (liquid, sticks, etc...)??? Thanks!!

says this on the page.
  • 90% of nitrogen is water-soluble
nothing but N but you'll also be needing some other things.

theres micros to think about, and I'm not sure but every veg nutrient I've used has at least a little p or k in it.

my thoughts are get some nice poops in a bottle( I use aurora roots organic buddha lineup), and don't forget plenty of ph up(which reminds me I need to slip over to organics and find out wtf these people use to adjust ph after mixing up several types of guanos and additives)

also, what's the better/worse about a nute that has higher NPK levels?? For instance, one nute has 10:3:5 and another has 55:10:20, the N in the first one is 10 and the N in the second one is 50, what difference will it make??

they say that works, have no idea myself, can't see why it wouldn't but then you wouldn't need the bone meal for N since that has an N value. then theres the copper , zinc, boron, iron, calcium, magnese ,chlorine.....molybdenum . Some of these are found in unfiltered tap of course.

you're wanting to do organics right? mainly organic nutrients have very low npk values. about the different ratios ,different ratios for certain types of plants I suppose, or for different stages in the plants life.

Ahh I see!! Thanks heaps for the help bro!

I meant blood meal for N , bone meal (which the tire shop should carry also) has a value of roughly 4-12-0. and then theres kelp meal. fish meal....etc etc.

actually I haven't a clue I'm just guessing but to the best of my knowledge all that shit is what you need. That's why I say just get some bottles of shit pudding ready to go, dump it in the water and go!

so good luck with that man. happy growing whatever you decide.

Thanks man! You're really knowledgeable, as are many of the people on this forum. I will start growing soon and will post pictures.

Happy growing and I hope your harvests turn out awesome!
