for the past couple years i have noticed weed is not the same, now before i get started i want to say i am 67 and have smoked since i was 12, that out of the way.
i do not get HIGH like i used to, i call it euphoric with a catch, it only goes so far, smoke and smoke the buzz stays the same, grow myself, above average, store weed they say is their best -NOT where did i get off my planet? where did mexican go? you always got high off that
now i am being told by snippy little kids i have an immunity, i want to piss myself laughing but it also makes me mad, is there something here that im saying that is

Marijuana is stronger than it’s ever been. If you aren’t feeling high either take a tolerance break or switch strains.

We used to smoke more sativa leaning weed
But now everyone runs hybrids that finish faster
The old school way produced more giggle weed but it’s not profitable when you can do two or three runs of hybrids in the same timeframe

Everyone is chasing the highest THC levels they can find. Many don't understand that there's more to it than just some tested THC level. Most people are growing cookie cutter polyhybrids. They want purple, tastes like berries, etc... I started growing mostly landrace strains and despite many having lower THC levels than some of the claims being made today I started to get higher and enjoying the high better.

Another thing is that potency claims are just that. They can claim anything they want. If some of these strains have so much THC then why aren't these breeders posting lab results to prove it? As far as I know the only outfit that does post actual lab test results is ACE Seeds. I don't believe most of what's listed in the descriptions of various strains including THC content. They post pictures of the plants why not add the lab results showing these 29% THC claims? Anyone that understands how shady the cannabis industry is knows the answer.

ACE does so there is no reason others can't do the same.

The Description for ACE Golden Tiger says 25-30% THC and they have the lab results posted on their website. I think many of these breeders are not even testing but just dropping numbers. The only people that have to get testing done are commercial growers. Anyone can chuck pollen, make seeds, claim anything they want, and sell them online. Something that if tested may have 17% THC has some number picked at random usually in the 23-26% range.

The reason breeders don't post lab results is because very few actually get the product tested. If they do get testing done and they don't provide those results then they probably have something to hide.

Same planet just a time shift is all. Lack of info will make a reply difficult but not impossible. First stop asking snippy little kids there opinion, can you actually see the weed before you purchase? If so you need to look for the ones that look like weed used too, not a ball rolled in crappy trics. If that is not possible, spend more time at the purchase site and ask other customers who look like you, what they like or recommend. From what I have seen all the old names of weed are gone, so you cant judge by name and you cant judge by THC numbers, so you are left with looks and what they [snippy youngens] would call lower shelf products. And sorry weed is not stronger now than its ever been and those analysis numbers are now meaningless.

Maybe your tolerance has gone up after so many years of smoking the peace pipe? I have a friend who says he doesn't get high anymore on herb so he only smokes concentrates and eats RSO.

I still get plenty high off bud because I quit smoking concentrates and don't do edibles anymore. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
