Pretty much what you read in the title. Very small a couple mm max and they move around fast enough to be visible. Neem doesn't work on them either. WIll soap and water sprayed on for a couple days do the trick?
Are they orange and cruise around the top of soil and along edge of pots.
Sounds like predatory mites. These are good bugs. They eat all other bugs then die off once their food source is gone. They are usually found in compost. But all other bugs hats compost (non poop).
not usually. reddish orange ones are predaotory . the yellowish ones are spider mites and do. but if there is food they will go for it. mites like high/dry heat. so thats why spider mites chill at tops of plants. 2 applications of pure spray green will get rid of them. kills eggs, babies and adults. its organic and omri listed.
if you have yellow spotting on the leaves. that's the spider mites feeding off the chlorophyll.
