What are these plants doing? please help. Pictures enclosed.

Hey all. I have been growing about a year and a half but have never really seen this before. I took clones off of some girls that were in the veg state. i keep my clones and veg girls under constant light with no darkness and never had this problem before.
as a couple of these plants grew they started to go from 5 leaves to three to one.
Other clones right next to them grew normally and added leaves as they grew.
Why would my vegetative plants do this?
I know I have some spider mites and I have not sprayed these yet. I have them in foxfarm soil and using 400 MH no dark period. I am not fertilizing them. Just wondering what is up with the diminishing leaf thing. Thanks

I have seen some extremly strange sh*t in the past and most of it has to do with lighting. I tape and hang vertically and overhead horizontally, cool/white(the cheap ones)floresents. Use 1/6 of the amount of fertilizer recommended by the fertilizer instructions. About a week before you want to clone suspend 400 watt murcury vapor bulbs in place of your HPS's. If to have 2 moms you only need one MV 400. For 6 or 7 large moms you'll need two mv 400's with the cool white. If you choose to allow your moms some sleep you can safely reduce the light factor to 18 hours without an worry of budding. can grow like a vine with smooth edged leaves under a certain type of light to a point where it doesn't resemble a potplant at all. HPS IS MAINLY USED FOR BUDDING!

Are they all clones from the same mother or are some dif?

to start get your mite problem taken care of. also get a scope and check you soil for and root insects that might be affecting your plants. If you also have root aphids of something this might cause your plants to get stressed and malnutritioned causing weird problems. start with the mites and then keep going.

All the clones are from one original mother. But now I am taking clones from clones as the original mother is long gone.
I have heard you can keep taking clones from clones forever.

Have you thought of putting them in bigger pots and watering less?

Are you misting them?
