What are the best organic potassium and phosphorus products.?

I am a big fan of soybean meal (7-1.5-3), bone char (0-16-0) kelp (0-1-1) and crab meal (2-3-0).
Does bone char require preparation like boiling ? Can it be used as a mix with medium, mixed at a certain level of container depth. Does it need a symbiotic organic to get the most out of it.?

I use it in my soil mix (3-4 cups per 30 gallons of media) and as a top dressing if needed. It is much more readily available to plants than a bone meal which could throw off your mycos if you use too much.

phosphate precipitates (like in chem class) as temps increase past boiling, so your better off broiling, toasting, or roasting over a flame if you are making it. then you can extract it if you so desire by mixing a liter of vinegar with a kilo of roasted bones. so the ratio is a ml per mg.... ok.... Crushing the bones helps increase surface area prior to soaking in vinegar. let soak for a week and agitate every so often. add the bones to your soil mix, half kilo per 5 gal is normal. use the vinegar at 1:100 dilution in water for foliar or soil drench

Fermented fruit extract made with EMextended (made from EM1) is a tried and true K booster but does contain nitrogen

Where do I get the bones? Does it matter if it's bird or mammal bones?
