What are the benefits of CO2 ?

I have a small grow cabinet about 4 foot high x 2 feet deep x 3 feet wide. I was on Amazon looking around and ran into something called exHale - Homegrown CO2. It's not expensive orr anything but I was wondering what the added benefits are of using it or if it's even necessary ?

CO2 is required for your plants to perform photosynthesis. Typically the natural environment holds about 300 ppm of CO2. Increasing your CO2 is only beneficial if your plants are getting adequate light because that is also part of the photosynthesis reaction. Plants peak photosynthesis rate is at about 90 degrees Fahrenheit and 1500 ppm of CO2. The CO2 also allows for warmer growing conditions without stressing out your plants. Think about it like this, the more CO2 available, the faster your plants will grow in the time they take to flower. The faster they grow, the larger they get, the larger your flowers become.

Thanks so much for your input. I'm a total newbie and only about three weeks into my new hobby and so far this forum has been my on stop shop that has answerd all my questions =)
