What are some good things to do while trying to re-veg?

so i sexed my plants , Two girls !! yiipppy! now im trying to re-veg them , I have a light schedule of 16/8 right now because of heat issues... Is there any thing i need to do to make this go completely smooth?

well at first i had the light on 24/0 but my leaves were all folding up. PROBLEM is my plants are in my attic , i just have to work around the temps

You'd be better off running a small CFL 24/7.
