What are bananas?

ive been reading alot about determining the sex of the plant. one guys says watch for bananas. What is that?

when a female produces male flowers they sometimes look like tiny bananas

when these little banana like objects open up they release pollen. If you have females in the same spot you want to get rid of males before they release pollen becaue you will get seeds in your bud
