What am I doing wrong?

This is my first grow and I'm trying to learn as much as I can.. Today is day 24 of life for these babies.. and since then, I've had some issues. The two struggling plants are super skunk and the larger one is PK. All grown under the same conditions. I have a Marshydro 27" x 27" set up. 18/6 light cycle. I germinated all three seeds at the same time via paper towel method and then placed the germinated seeds in a jiffy pod. After two days I transferred the pods to 1 gallon containers with foxfarm soil and sprayed with water. No nutrients. Just distilled water. (Initially, there were two PK and two SS but the other PK just stopped growing after it was transfered to the gallon pot and I didn't bother spending energy trying to save it.) At first, when the leaves started growing I noticed they were wilting a bit. On day 12, I noticed the PK starting to outgrow the two SS. Around day 14 I noticed the leaves were going yellow and burnt at the tips. I realized they were light burned because I had my LED lights too close and too bright. They were about 14 inches from the light at 50%. I moved the light up to about 20 inches from canopy and since turned the brightness down to about 40%. I knew they were pretty stressed and most likely why the growth was stunted, but the PK was still growing somewhat normally I think..Then again, this is my first time growing, so not sure what an ideal grow looks like yet. Day 22, both SS are still growing veeeery slooowlyy. I realized the pods were exposed and should've initially been covered with soil, so I added some soil on top in all three containers. On the smaller SS I just clipped the bottom leaves that were severely burnt. & Also today I topped the PK. Idk if I should start giving them nutrients? Should I? Maybe some CalMag would help? I've checked the pH of both the soil and runoff and it is normal. Between 6-7. Why are my SS still so small? What do you think will help???

They look hungry to me.

I usually give them a light feeding around day 10-14 or when those first little round leaves (The cotyledons) start to yellow. The cotyledons are all the food the little seedling has stored and as soon as its depleted the seedling needs fed.

I don't know what nute line your using but I would start with 1/4 strength and go from there.

He said he's using Fox Farms soil. Depending on which one he has it should last for awhile without anything but plain water. I suspect the water or watering practices.

My advice is stop changing things

They are just babies started in too big of pots and you seem to wanna make them grow faster?

Get a watering schedule and use half dose on nutrients and they will straighten themselves out

Using fox farms trio liquid nutrients. I haven't fed them yet but the cotyledons are yellowing. I wasn't sure if I should start feeding yet because I don't know if the roots have used up all the nutrients in the soil.. but it's been about 3 weeks since I placed them in the soil. Maybe ill start with 1/4 the dose and see how they respond. I just don't want to give them nutrient burn.

Thank youu. I will give them rest and 1/4 nutrients and see how they respond. I will keep you all updated with pics. Thanks so much for the advice.

If you suspect soil is hot why are you wanting to add more nutrients?
The only problem with those plants is the owner isn't patient

I know I am impatient lol... but these babies are 25 days old and they look so small. I started to get anxious.. So you're saying not to feed them yet? Around what pH should my water be before watering them?

Take a deep breath and don't change anything else except for if you're using distilled water DO pH adjust it down to the 6.5 range and do that for a few weeks. FFOF should have enough nutrients for at least the first handful of weeks of veg.

Remember that plants don't necessarily live in our 'time'...it takes them a while to adjust to condition changes and uptake of water/nutrients, etc. So when you do change something...do that then wait a week or two before assessing the success and/or further steps. Not only cannabis, but all sorts of plants are like this; I'm a gardening enthusiast in a range of indoor/outdoor stuff.

Next time maybe cut the FFOF with some Happy Frog or start in HF alone, etc. I went with a different nutrient rich soil for my first grow and ended up deciding it's a wild card. Don't know how hot and in what ways, etc. So next time I'll be going for something like Pro-Mix which is way closer to a neutral tabla-rasa. My assumption is that it will give me more control of things in general.
