This is funny. Mitch Mconnell filibusters his own proposal LOL. Freaking republicans got their head so far up there ass it's insane. They are so desperate at this point. I'll give 'em credit, they know how to dig a big hole. The one thing I never got about our voting in the senate, was why does it take more then 60 to be considered a majority vote. One answer comes to my mind, is it requires both sides to have to cooperate and agree with the bill. I think it's kind of bs. When I grew up if 30 people voted, and 16 people voted one way, they won. I think the house is like that.

The democrats are far from perfect, but I'd like to think they have a bit better grasp on reality then the republicans. At least they are the party of bigger government and we know it. The republicans promote fiscal conservatism then grow the government.

I agree that both sides definitely have their flaws. In my opinion, both parties suck

I would love to think of an analogy that describes this story. But I can't think of how to tie someone voting against their own idea to an analogy. Either way it's pretty funny. It has to be the one of the only times, if not the only time this has ever happened. How embarrassing that must have been to vote no lol.

They were for a No fly zone in Libya until Obama did that also

they both are crooks looking to keep themselves in power longer. THe tide is slowly turning as in Washington and legalized marijuana, our time will come and we can get the old 2 party system out and a newer better one in place.
