damn man, you are going to have wasted all that cash if you don't put in some serious time researching (on the FAQ, throughout the site, books, etc). by the time your first seed has germinated, you shouldn't have to ask the basic questions.
in this post, you aren't even really asking one solid question... still, I'll answer anyways, to show i'm not really a douch.
you can do rockwool slabs with an ebb and flow system using 5.7Ph water with GH 3-part nutes under a 1000w air-cooled HPS running for 12 hrs on/off intervals. phew... there's about 1 billion other ways to approach a rockwool-utilizing grow... check this video out, and make sure to check out the other parts before and after this segment.

I saw your other post about growing in the forest. you might want to start small scale, to get a feel for it first.
I'm pretty sure you dont want to grow with rockwool outdoors, its more of an indoor hydro medium.
