Hi i am new to growing so sorry if this is a stupid question, but i have 2 fans for my grow tent, currently growing 6 clones of super skunk, currently in week 3 of flowering,(i also have a carbon filter) should i have both fans above the plants but below the light, or one fan at the bottom near the intake hole and another between light and plants?

As much advice on fans ETC would be greatly appreciated.

here is a video of them in week 2 of flowering

as far as I am concerned, you need three fans total, if your light is air cooled.

One of them goes somewhere between the carbon filter and the light, or after the light. basically it should suck air through the carbon filter, then through the light, then out. The fan can go anywhere in the tubing.
The second fan will be an intake fan, anywhere on the bottom works fine. I usually want it opposite corner of my carbon filter.
Then, the third fan is a circulating (oscillating) fan. I put this at the light level above the intake so it blow at the tops of the plants between them and the light, and rotates the entire 45 degrees of the tent.

So for the intake you could get a home ventilation booster fan, 250 cfm, or and inline more expensive one from a grow shop.
For the circulating fan, and one will work form menards or something.
For the otehr one, though, I would match its cfm to the carbon filter rating, and at least 500 cfm if your carbon filter can handle that would be good.

Are you talking about fans for circulation in the growtent? or the exhaust fan to pull air out of the tent and through the carbon filter?
