weirdness happening

k, I'm just a few weeks into flower and the budding was going nicely. Now, the stems are shooting up like crazy and lots of leaves are growing (which are strangely rounded and just generally ugly looking) from the growing tip, theres hardly any flower on these new stalks, just a pistel here n there, definitely not right. PH is ok, as usual. Light (1000W hps) is only a few inches off the tops as theres no heat issues in my place.

No pics sry.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

if its less than 2 or 3 weeks into flowering I wouldnt wory about it. the leaves that grow on the buds twords the top of the plant are usualy rounder and kind of odd looking

dunno why you made 2 threads..anyway, stretching is normal for the first 3 weeks of flowering. not sure why they randomly just now started, but your description is kinda hard to picture. id say its natural and everythings normal, but pics would help

is it getting complete darkness or is some light leaking in from other sorces durring it's night sycle?

I'm pretty damn sure that its complete darkness...possibly the smallest amount of light but not enough to cause any problems I would think
