Weird seed germ take a look

i have never seen a seed germ like this before. It has shown its roots but it is a U root and both ends are connected to the seed... It is not like it just curled back and touching the seed it is connected....

Chances are the end of the root is trapped in the seed shell and as the root grows that U will grow bigger until it sorts itself out.
 
yea i was like ah finally let me plant her (AMS Fem). now i am like let me wait this out a little longer...
 
That's really normal. Almost every seed I germ does that. It's trying to grab ahold of something to open the cotyledons.
 
Only thing is it is not grabbing it is still attached to the seed. How long till it detaches or should i put it in soil now.... and if so what direction.... new pics of it

put it in dirt or whatever your growing in it will probably sort itself out. or just snip it where the tail is stuck in the seed and then plant.
 
Seed shell facing up. With a razor blade separate the left side of the root (in the first pic) from the seed shell. It should grow as normal after that
 
so plant it root in and hope it grows, sounds about right i cant tell the point on the seed because it was round.. weirdest seed i have ever gotten. i will plant it tomorrow morning and see what happens because it is strange because both ends connect in the middle of the seed so strange ..

I was thinking about that as well. but i was not to sure if that will kill the seed. I will take some pics in the morning to see how it has changed and i think razor cut is good idea
