so I took a cutting off my plant, there was a bud on it, and I rooted it...

now that its rooted its growing leaves that look different, different color and texture. to me doesn't even look like weed leaves.

That's exactly what it should look like!

Its just the way it looks when you regenerate a flowering plant I have a plant I regenerated after harvest and also a clone I took off of her during flower. They both grew like that.
Wierd single blade leaves,crazy spiral leaves smooth edges. Etc....
Just wait that lil girl could end up with a ton of tops on it.
Both of mine have 15-20 tops each. huge canopy
I was confused as hell at first too I just waited it out it took a few weeks before the new growth was recognizeable as marijuana

Love that plant it'll love you back

awesome! well it's in my aero-cloner and it has an amazing root growth going on. I am treating her well :):bigjoint:
 
Here's a pic of mine 1.5 week into flower after 3 weeks of veg which includes regeneration time. And I didn't do anything like topping,fim,scrog nothin just let them grow on their own
And once they got going I was amazed how the canopy stayed so level all on its own I expected madness!!
Ugly duckling into a swan and shit lol!!!!

That is completely typical, for a Re-Vegged Plant my friend.

She should get her self back in order as she continues to put more new growth on.....she is just fine.

so... is there a moral to this whole thing?

If its a repeatable process, and it yeilds more tops in the end and possibly grows faster...

why dont we all clone from plants that are at this stage?

If you could, describe when exactly you took the clippings during the mothers life cycle, and where the clipping was from, and how large it was, and how long it takes to root...

i took it at about 4 weeks into flower..took about 2 weeks in my cloner. it was a lower branch with a bud the size of a nickle
 
I had a cutting of super silver haze do that to me, never got around to seeing what it turned out to be fuckin kids '' i have a dog now'' haha
