It's not critters.
What's your water sched?
Why the tin foil? Is there soil under there?
Soil's gotta breathe.
What's the setup?

na, its hydro/ dwc . setup is 3- 10 gal totes with bout 6 gal water in each. totes was painted on outside black then covered in white to keep the light out of the totes, then a black cloth over the net pots and the tin foil was a experiment Basically to see if it would keep light out from going thru the net pots. PH is 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 per the three totes. 1 plant per tote, 1000 wat led, 4x4x8 grow tent (sealed off with screening) 9 inch fan blowing thru the bottom vent hole (not directly on plants) , topfin 8000 air pump not sure the gpm but it is for a 170 gal tank

water schedule (just changed out 4 days ago) useing general hyponics 3 stage system micro, flora, and bloom. last grow re nutrient every 2 weeks with a water top off the week in between so was staying the same on that this grow (unless this is my issue)

lights are on a 18/6 hour timer about 24 inchs from the top of the plants

I do have to note, at the begining (these plants are 8 weeks old) , wife started them in aero garden till led came in, they got a lil root rot going and i waited on new clean roots to start and snipped off the root rotted ones. maybe just signs of the stress they went thru? (roots was cut about 5 weeks ago, and are growing back pretty nicely and quick

You got me there.
I don't hydro.
I see that sometimes in wet soil when my lights are too close and/or nutes are too intense.
They'll swing out of it.

This just happened to me. I thought I had some nute burn but it ended up being that the lights were just too close. Raised them about 6 inches or more and 2 days later it' already improving.. good luck
