Weight Gaining?

aight heres the deal im 6'2 and weigh like 145 pounds i eat constantly especally when i got the munchies but i dont gain weight , im trying to put on more pounds and eating isent working any other ideas?:hump:
 
how can you get more protein if your already eating alot of meat / eggs / ect. i dont work out but i do play basketball a couple hours a day
 
im 6foot.. 185lbs. and my weight never goes below 175, and never above 185. its been like that for the past 4years.

i think that my metabolism that is very high. or it could be my diabetes also.

either way i would like to gain a little more weight, no matter how much i eat, i cant keep on weight.
 
I was once told that to get big you have to eat big, eat as much as you can, try to eat about six small meals a day or large meals if you have a really high metabolism. Eat a good meal before you go to sleep. Get some weight gainer take those in between meals, make sandwitches to take with you to work or school, yogurts are real good and portable, fruit is easy to take with you ect. it will be difficult to eat all that food at first but you will be amazed how much your stomach can stretch, give a week or two and you will be able to eat more food and you will be noticeble hungier multiple times a day. I try to eat healthy meals but I know people who just eat everything they can there hands onto and don't get fat, I'm guessing you could eat alot of cheesburger and such and not get fat so the heahtly eating part is not as important as people who can gain weight very fast. your diet is just as important as working out, your not going to gain much weight unless you up your calorie intake. eat eat eat even if it is just an apple or ham samich as much as you can and work out with weights and don't run
 
when my old boss was working out trying to gain weight and gain size...he ate like 6000 "clean" calories a day. clean meaning all foods that are good for you...good calories from healthy food. thats a lot of food...but yea...u really have to eat a lot...and tons of protein. try protein shakes...they're not that bad i swear...lol. also a lot of dairy is high in protein. cottage cheese is a good one for protein.

try protein powder - add more dope to improve your appetite - add weight training, bball is great for aerobics but not weight gain
 
just by the cheap protein from walmart ect, and the key is if you mix the protein powder with a full glass of water it is real watery and nasty, its best when you just mix a lil water and drink it, it not bad at all, weight gain powder is alot thicker and harder to down

ok you people are in lack of understanding not including work or whatever i have to get done i smoke pretty much all the time and i eat everything and anything junk food fruit veggies meats constantly doughnuts cookies cakes when i make a sandwhich its like a foot tall. i need something in addition to the food something that acutally works.
 
Ohhh...well muscle weighs more than fat...maybe you could try body building.Go to GNC and ask them.I'm sure they'll be happy to spend your money for ya.

money? hah wish i had enough to give it away to some asshole so they can watch me do a little work and give up. i dont get this problem at all everyone complains about losing weight and i cant do enough to get it on meh
 
im 6'2 200..in the winter i was 180..drink lots of protien, i mean three times a day..once in the morning, once after your workout (you should start working out), and once before bed..youll start gaining weight crazy..and keep on eating those meats

Chose full fat milk?
Eat a lot of cheese..

Just don't exert yourself in any way shape or form :)

I feel you man I am the samn 6'2 and 150 I tried the weight gainer spent over 200 dollars in a two month span and was taking 100grams of protien a day plus eating like a mad man trying to get 5000 cal a day plus hitting weights ok .....so you know what happened I gained 2 lbs .... in 2 months .... I could take a 2 lb shit lol ... anyway what I'm tring to say is good luck but I think that it is genetics man but hey at least your not having to fight the weight eh? good luck and If you find a good method let me know Peace

If your 150 pounds you should of ate atleast 200 grams of protien a day..i know sounds crazy and its hard to do but you gotta do it
