So, I'm running soil all organic. These pics are from today last day week 5. Going to hit em with an ewc tea tomorrow (brewed 36 hrs) . Lighting is 700 wall watts. Temps 80 lights on 73 off. Rh is 45%. Have lights at 95% last 3 weeks. My question is week 7 to harvest does dialing down each week the leds help the plant through? I have not had this opportunity to dim. I got these beans from Coastal Mary's seeds, have not grown these strains Hell Fire and Maple Leaf but I think they are doing good. Tia for any help. Happy growing.

Just complimented these ladies a second ago. I think you’re doing fine. I’m not so sure about dimming down the light being of any help however.
I know exactly how ur thinking though. Try to mimic a natural habitat.. clouds set in & block most of the suns rays in the fall, so it seems like they get less light.. however if we were going off of dli.. I can imagine you are still getting more light outside in a natural habitat, than we are able to give with led indoors.
I would keep blasting them til chop.

No not really, I am just trying to get an idea from anyone who has tried in the last month.
I’ve always been told “The more light the better”
I’ve also spoken to random growers about going the same thing. They’ve always asked “why would I want to cut back on one of the most important factors of a grow?”
After hearing it from multiple sources, I figured it may be best to take the advice.
I have kept blasting them & haven’t felt regretful one bit.

Towards the end like a week or so when the buds have pretty much formed , I'll dim down..to keep temps nice and cool to preserve as much trichomes + terpenes as i can...as you are not going to gain much weight (if any at all) during that time anyway.

That's what I figured, it makes it easier on the plant and temps too. Kinda transformed into natural ending. I have before used ice to bring out color.
