here is my plant at 6 weeks. This is my first grow and want to know what you all think. It is on a 24hr light cycle. for now, but thinking i need to switch it to 12/12 soon?

How many lights are you using? looks like you could use a few more in there, she looks a lil stretchy, more lights closer and surrounding her. stay high

Yeah, she looks okay, but she's really stretchy. More light for sure, but she's going to stretch even more in flower. You may want to use some Bushmaster, keeps it from getting too tall, keeps the nodes tighter and bushes her out. Good luck!

Thank you for tips. i will be purchasing a bigger and stronger cfl and will help pump more heat in there!

well it's not heat you want in there, if heat is an issue than you need a better exhaust system, what are your current temps? You are gonna want fans too, you don't want it getting too hot,
How many actual watts do you currently have? how many bulbs? If you have a few already spread them around the plant, in this case the more the better. stay high

but like others have said she's stretching for more light. Next time i would suggest switching to 12/12 early like week 3. This is to try'n keep the plant height down. Otherwise with taller plants the intensity of cfl lights wont provide enough light for lower plant growth. Im currently doing a clf only grow, Check out my grow Journal.
ALSO This book if you dont already have it, taught me alot about clf growing.

I have 4 bulbs. two on top and one on either side. im told its a total of 100 watts. i have 2 soft white bulbs and two of the higher intesity (blueish tint) ones. i have moved her into a bigger closet and now can drop the lights so they are on the side of the plant. its making her look more bushy. i also have a fan that on in there keeping her cool
on monday i will be purchasing a bigger stronger bulb and tonight i am switching it to the 12/12 cycle.

do yourself a favor and get a few more bulbs. if it's a fixture issue you can double triple or quadruple up your one fixture...
you can get Y splitter from walmart or anyy hardware store...

Once you flip to 12/12 she is going to stretch 2-3xs so the more light the better. Small bulbs are ok, you just need more of them. I'm subbing to this thread. want to see how it turns out.
Are you using nutes? do you have nutes for flowering? I'm using GH floranova grow and bloom and seem to get good results. you can check out my grow if you want just click on my sig. I'm having a lil issue but it's growin well. stay high.

i am just feeding her every two days, and i am using blackstrap natural molasses (1 teaspoon) that i mix into a gallon of water. When i transplanted though i went through a mixture of that with some root strengthener. I will look on monday when i go to the hardware store for a fixture like that and a bigger bulb.

Have to disagree... I have had upto 5 bulbs on one socket, using y splitters and socket plugs, nothing fancy or heavy duty just basic shit from walmart. Here is a nice grow that some has going on using the 4 way splitter. https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/453406-1st-grow-1-plant-4x45w.html

Thanks for rep'n my grow Shrx! Yeah that 4 way splitter is cool but it keeps the lights too close together, you should go with the "Y" splitters. You get much better light coverage that way. If you don't already you should get some emergency blanks to line the walls of your grow space, that should help maximize light penetration, and its much better than using tinfoil.
