why is that? I have had several people mention the algae but I was told that its harmless, I am guessing you have different info?

Looks almost exactly like my OG kush. They are looking really healthy! The only thing I see is that they are getting a bit claw like. It is probably nothing though.

You do not want algae growing on your roots my friend, will cause root disease killing your plant

i always get algae on top of rooting cubes, never done mine any harm, but i go into pots frm there not trays. dont know if that makes a diff, they looking great m8 when are u planning to flower?

To late to save the Rockwool i would just carefully tear it off until its just the roots and hydrotron. otherwise plant is looking great for week 5

Could always Cover Rockwool from the light algae will die eventually, I had issues with algea before, ate through all my rockwhool and exposed my roots started eating at my roots. Plant never flowered properly and harvest was effected. So if i ever get algae on the rockwhool i carefully remove it never had issue after that.
