weeding out the weaklings

ok so i have a three plants in one 6inch pot of soil.. im pretty sure the roots are going to be intertangled how to i properly kill off the weak ones with out totally stressing out the other. do i just cut the stem off at the soil?

cut the stem off at the soil if you don't want to keep them. why did you have them all in the same pot to begin with?

Try to untangle two of them from the third. Make sure to save the main one though. It wouldn't hurt to try to untangle them though... I had that problem with two plants but I managed to untangle them.

You'll find it easier to separate in water and that's no guarantee, I made the same mistake before....shit I use pudding cups, yogurt cups tempararily then transplant into proper pots.
