webs but no mites?

So i was just investigating and i seen some web strands in the leaves nothing serious and not on the buds...but no mites. I looked with my lens and still no mites? I did however see a normal spider chilling on the container at the base of it that was sitting in a web...could that be it?

Do a google search or maybe even here for spider mite web and compare. They are pretty distinctive.
