Hey guys .. my first attempt at growing indoors .. my buds on top are look in good but the lower buds look like shit.. question 1,, can I trim fan leaves at top to give more light to lower buds without stressing the plant to much.. I also had a guy tell me to cut off the big buds wen ready and the smaller buds will get bigger but Idk about that.. any input is appreciated
Yea I cut off some leaf fingers they sprouted August 6th & I think this is week 6 or 7 ( I'd have to look) of flowering .. I'd like to harvest but with the small p opcorns that are way underdeveloped and have long white fresh pistols is wat was making me wanna wait.. I've been using 6cfls equaling over 12000 lumens , 2700kelvins for flowering and have 1 42 watt 2700 lumen cfl hanging low in a empty spot to try and give the smaller undergrowth more light
Don't trim top fan leaves to try to get lower popcorn to pop. Read up on LST, mainlining and SCROG. Work with the plants.
