Wats wrong with my seeds

Ive been germinating in paper towel now for 10 days. Out of 300 seeds only 100 germinated. Any Answers.

Try putting them in a cup of water in the dark! A friend of mine had a load of bagseeds in paper towel that didnt germ then one day in the water they had cracked the next day they were ready for planting!

I'd say your doing good then 100 seedlings is a lot

how would i know not to let them dround if i put them in the cup of water cuz i know you can drown a seed?

if u used the paper towel method than u prb screwed up, or the seeds were just not good, but yeah 100 is real good.... but any way take a huge tray and put paper towels on them and then spray them with water untill there moist, put your seeds on them and then cover them up, make sure its dark, and you spray it daily. that method always works for me. if not then yeah the water method id try. idk if that helped or not

they wont drown they will sink to the bottom tho but they're ment to this its a really good method you have hundreds of seeds try it with 2 and see if it works!

Granted I am a noob....

But what has always worked for me was to wet a paper towel with distilled water, place the seeds on it, fold the paper towel aroundthe seeds, place it in a plastic szip-lock bag with the zip lock partially open. Place the bag in a dark warm place. In 72 hours I had the tap root showing. Maybe you can do that the the other 200 seeds.

Just my 2 cents....

ya thanks for all the advice... im probably just going to put all 200 in the water to see if it does anything bcuz i got another 100 on top of that ready to be germinated.
