waterpump leakage

hey i connected my waterpump to pvc fittings and my female outlet is leaking, i put teflon around the male end on the pump and tightened it a bit of hand toghtening and its still leaking any recommendations? its a 700 gph pump if that matters

Use a wrench to snug it up...

More Teflon. Pull off the fitting, take off-color Teflon and we wrap. 6 good turns around the threads. Make sure you put it on so the Teflon is being tightened as you turn the fitting.
