Waterproofing ledstrips and intracannopy lighting.

Im looking into waterproofing ledstrips, standard 2 foot/560mm, 30mm wide (i just cant can over those Vesta strips).
Does anyone know of any solutions for sale already so i dont have to go all in DIY?
Basicly looking for some kinda diffuser with a metal backboard for heatsinking where my strips just slide in. The idea is to keep the leaves off direct contact with the leds and keep them water proof.

I want to maximize lighting and yield per square foot and also supply a targeted spectrum under/in cannopy to achive an even maturity rate from top to down of the plant.
The reasoning is that the lower you get in the cannopy the spectrum quality of your light changes; red light around 680nm and blue light are easily absorbed by upper cannopy as per a @Malocan thread and the under cannopy light is lower in these wavelengths.

Anyone with ideas? I know intracannopy is a subject of opinions so please give constructive answers instead of just "dont do it", "vestas are inefficient" which are all things that im aware of.

I think your cheapest DIY sealing solution is to get some clear potting epoxy and just seal them in with that like they do solar cells.

Yes, search for "ip67 led profile" they are sold as leds for bathroom floor/shower/pool lighting. You may spend a while finding one that's wide enough. You can get coatings and resin that's usually how they waterproof drivers ect.

Or.. there is a profile called "solis". It's not waterproof but it can take an accidental spray. It fits 37mm strips and a 60cm length can do 35w @50c with the lens fitted. You can also get pmma a lens for them that's 94% efficient. We have a new lighting range coming out with these. Cheap to £17for a 2m length. You could silicone the joints if you want fully waterproof.

2m profile with lens/diffuser, running 2-3 of them thru the cannopy sounds really interesting. This grow im consulting on have very few limitis on power, other than not heating the space up too much, and in winter with leds it needs all the heat it can get. Better throw the watts at something that does both heat and light than just 2000w thru an electric heater. Will have a look at it, any link or info for that new lighting range u mentioned? Or leave note here when its its up on ur web.
