ok so when is it more beneficial to water after lights turn on or before they go off.

I water just after the light comes on.

yeah ive been watering when the lights come on for the last 4/5 years. Any one got any evidence of which is more beneficial?

I have read that watering in the evening can promote budrot, mildew, problems controlling humidity, etc.

I have read that watering at night is just a fucking pain in the ass and the probably nonexistent benefits you will recieve probably won't be worth the hassle.
