I use city tap water on my plants. I was wondering if using a brita filter would help with the ph and PPM.

I also heard that using nutes (I have Schultz 10 15 10) will help with the water.

i would also like to know if brita filter would help as i too live in the city and stuf and i know that schultz nutes will help ur plants not sure about water though sorry lol

it deff would help. I also use tap water and i fill up a bucket and let it sit for 24hrs so the chlorine can vent off

dont use the schultz(you want 20-10-12 for vegging) but the brita filter is an exellent idea. i'd use it if it wouldn't take me half the day to water my plants. you really dont need to tho just get some throw-away ph testers and tthat'll be fine

yu need to check your ph or you wil get some diffecentcy, for every number your off on your ph it is ten times more acidic or alkiline.after a week of the wrong ph then yor roots lock out nutrients then you have problems

ive never had any problems just using tap water and shultz. i also use miracle grow soil. i dont know what all these ppl that say these things suck are doing to there plants but ive never had any problems.

Im going to just let the water sit out for a day then, maybe pick up a brita carbon filter, i think theyre only 10 bucks.

My plants looked awesome at first, then just wento to shit. the leaves are are curling and feel dry.

Im just worried because in the next hour im going to be "changing" my soil. Im transplanting into the same exact pot by removing as much of the old dirt i can without killing the roots. I know I wont get the dirt out that against the taproot but they only a few weeks old so i think i should be able to get and 75% of the new dirt in there.
