Watering schedule ?

Running one 600watt with a flood and drain setup. How many times should I flood the plants during veg and for how long....I only water when the light is on.

I just started with Hydro and what I came up wiht that seems to be working good is 3 times for 1/2 hour each time
 
i run my vegging schedule every 4 hours for 30 min around the clock with lights 24 hours works good. in flour i run the same but only when lights are on and once 6 hours after lights out to keep roots nice and damp i get 4 waterings in 12 hours starting when lights kick on in flowering.
 
I use Rockwool without hydroton. I flood once a day for 15 minutes for the entire time in Veg.
Like CHOEMPI said, it will depend on your media.
 
i agree with that rockwool holds water in for a good while my pots i use dont allow the rockwool to touch the water level just the root mass coming from them
 
Ok I have been water 4 times during the veg cycle for 30 mins during the light cycle. Plant is in a 6" rockwool cube and the plant is about 6" tall. The root is rather thick, when can I expect roots to come out of the bottom of the rockwool ? Just curious.
 
You are watering too much . You should only be watering once a day at that point. Check out my grow in my sig. I also use the 6" Rockwool blocks.
