When you water, You should water your plants thoroughly!! S that water actually drains fromthe bottom of your pot. I usually use 1/2 to 1 gallon of water every 3-10 days for plants growing in 3 gallon containers at 75 degrees F.

It is very important not to over water.. this means FREQUENCY.. not quanity..

so even when there about 1 1/2 inches i should fill my cup till it comes out the bottom then wait till it gets dry?

Well, I usually don't use that technique until the plants have 3-4 nodes. Up until that point.. I just try to keep the soil ,moist so that the baby roots don't dry up..

Good question!!!
