watering one plant, light is cfl daylight and soft white mix

Should i go by the rule put a finger in an inch to test for dryness... or should i water twice a day or once a day no matter what.... i can tell when I water in the morning it seems to have a growth spurt and is bushier and looks happier in the evening.. Should i give it more water like twice a day watering or stay with once a day or once every two days?
its always about 80 degrees some spikes with the door closed but not bad with the fan pulling in fresh air.

U should really go by the whole , if the dirt is wet thing. The finger will always tell you. If u go by watering twice a day no matter what, u could end up over watering ur plants.
Drainage is key too , its hard to over water with good drainage, but if u dnt leave ur soil time to dry a bit that could also be a problem.

So go with the finger in the soil , it will always tell you the truth.

Buy a cheap moisture/light/PH/nutrient meter on ebay.

moisture meters are pointless. seriously a waste of money. its not hard to tell the moisture of ur soil.

But it's also a PH meter and a light meter and a nutrient meter. So why not use it for moisture too?

Thanks Igolos and socom, Although I would love to be able to moderate the other factors i have some old techniques for testing all of the above so its kinda a waste of money.. well not a waste per say but I could use that money for other things... T5 or Hps to help out the cycle... Maybe ill ask for the meter at xmas

I want to add some fruit juice to my watering cycle... read it was a great idea to add some healthy nuts to the plant.. I wounder if strawberries are the only none acidic fruit I can purea and and mix with two gallons of water? Any of you guys hear or read about this... let me know what you think!

23 watt CFLs are 1 dollar each on ebay if you buy them in fairly large amounts.

Preeching to the choire on that one ive done so much god dam research on lights its sickning... my eyes are bloodshot and squinty when it come to that....btw not to be a tool but when i bought my last 12 off ebay only 8 worked.. send some bad rep and they sent replacements but i had to pay another shipping or get a refund? Found our local Ollie's has em ten for ten!!great... im only using two 27 watt daylight from homecheapo and about 5 23 watt soft and shes growing in a spiral and looking pretty healthy for the situation. had to repot her and try to burry more stem so it would go alittle straighter. Think shell live?
