watering in this drought? idea?

So water is not getting easier to find but i do have access to a possible free. unlimited. source.. catch is this is a mineral hot spring. I know the family who owns this spring who have it all capped with regulated flow ( they leave it on 24/7 ) as will fills a man made pond that they dug up. I have not had a chance to do a full experiment so maybe someone else has?? it does smell like sulphur but the pond does harbor an ecosystem (plants, fish, ducks, bugs, beaver, etc)

I think you'll be fine if there are animals living in the water.. but it wouldn't hurt to test the ph and all that.

Get it tested, the ochean also supports a ecosystem but the water is far from potable , Have you asked the familly about the water ? ?
