Watering, growing questions ...

Aloha, I've been growing marijuana for many years however, all of it has been done using soil or other growing material, this will be my first hydroponics/bubbleponics grow. My main question has to do with watering my seeds/starters. I've read several different reply's that say you should have water runnning 24/7 across your seeds/starters, I know the water reservoir needs to have air circulating 24/7 but should I have my drip system running 24/7 from the very beginning or should I have the drip system on a timer and feed the seeds/starters 3-4 times a day? Once my plants take hold and start growing, should my drip system be running 24/7 or on a timer set to feed them multiple times a day? Also, I've read that I should slowly add the nutrients as my plants develop, what's your advise? When should I begin adding the nutrients to my system? Lastly, I heard that once your starters take hold that it's better to have your lights set to run 18 hours on and 6 hours off then I read that it's better to leave your lights on 24 hours a day until they're at a certain point then set your lights to the 18 hours on 6 hours off, what's your take on the 24 hours on instead of the 18/6 setting? Any advise is greatly appreciated ... :peace:
