Watering frequency when transitioning from veg to flower

So this is my 2 nd outdoor season and i have these two big girls that have been drinking 3 gallons of water a day, 4 gal a day a month ago when i was giving some supplemental water because of the heat. Now i have noticed since transitioning into flower they have dropped back to (2 gal) a day and maybe even less. Seems like they are only wanting 2 gal every other day. i have been watering daily for months now and dont want to screw it up. Have any of y’all noticed this pattern when going into flower? Took everything i had to not water this morning but soil was still moist from yesterday so i refrained. Thank you in advance. Edit - they are in 15 gallon pots

Pretty good-sized plants for 15gal pots

I feed 1gal of water with NFTG nutes every day when I grow in 15gal pots, which is my usual method

The only thing I change is I use more liquid bone meal during flowering, which requires a pH adjustment

The last week or so I'll stop giving anything but liquid bone meal- by then the plant is yellowing a lot, and eating itself as it should

Thanks man, yes i think they are way too big for the pots, i never imagined they would get this big. I am going to look into this liquid bone meal, appreciate the advise!
