For most of us 68 degrees is what we consider room temp mate, which is a rather good temp for the res. Lower temps more oxygen, above 72 is a no,no due to low oxy as well as fungi and other shit growing in there.
I didn't notice the R/O in the original post, which must be the diff.
I can't count the times I've read that the closer to room temp you water with (in soil) the less environmental shock is risked.
I probably should've written "grow room temp" water, but this house is all the same temp.
