i just put the seed in the rockwool and im wondering if there should be a set temp for what kind of water it is.. it about 80 degrees in the container

Most seeds germinate at a temperature between 50 and 75 degrees; I agree that 80 degrees is too hot.

Hot try to take a water bottle and freze it than put it in the water to cool it down

well i have it in a cold spot but i put a heat lamp about 2 feet away.. im going to fix that right now brbr

no heat lamp, just place it in a dark place at room temp which shouldn't be at 80degree and it should sprout.

if i dont use a heat lamp it will be less than 30 degrees at night and a maximus of 50 degrees during the day.. i have my heat lamp about 3 feet away from everything just giving it enough warmth now

What kind of lights are you using.... ? HIDs should provide plenty of day time heat... if yo are going to get a heat lamp or heater you shuld just get an HID.. it will heat your room and YOUR plants will benifit greatly..

well i already have 8 100w cfl daylights and thats workin fine my heat lamp is like 3 feet away i dont need to spen more money on a hid light within 3 to 4 weeks i will be using a 600w hps light and that will give a good amount of heat
