you should try to water with more volume less often if possible. Most people can get there plants on a once every 3-5 day watering schedule, depending on the size of pots and the medium. This forces your roots to grow to find water as well as limiting the risk of root rot.

A lot of it depends on your pot size. I use smaller pots so I have to water everyday.

lift the pot to see if its dry. Make sure you have 5-10 percent run off.
Unless its 100f in your room you wont be watering everyday
When the pot feels empty u water it. Its common sense not to water your plant everyday unless its drinking more than you are
