i dont remember where i saw it but somthing abot rain water begin great for a water, well its ben rainin alot i got a pool with a great tarp that holds tons of water i know for sure my pool water has not gone though the tarp so can use that water or will it be dirty water?

dont think so unless u got access to a chemistry lab at college or university. i've onle ever heard of ph and ec meters. maybe sumthing out there u could get. why not get all the water and just test it slowly on 1 plant

how can i store the water? i know buyin water is cheep but save lil bit of money , iwas thinkin of just tryin it on 1 plant, but i was goin to bring it in and let it setttle poor the top water out leave 1/4 water still in it and discard, keep the top settled water.

in a bucket??? its only water, if there was any probs with it u would get some sort of smell or fungus kinda shit on it i would imagine. although i still wouldnt risk it. is it worth riskin a plant to save a bit of cash?

i mean fungus grows with any water.. u figure u us 1gallon per plants say 1$ a gallon u got 15 plants thats 15gallons per watering add it up a few times thats 100$ more moeny for better stuff for grow room..

i kinda keep forgetten that a lot of americans buy there water, living in scotland we dont have that problem, we're lucky coz weve got very soft water with an average ph of 6.5.

Rain water is excellent, it manages to help all the plants in the world grow, come on think about it people. Water butts to collect it.

Depends on where you live and if there is lots of pollution or not. Some rain water is absolutely nasty.

LOL Funny Woomeister. Acid rain or using polluted rain works just like miracle grow works. They both work fine but might have some inherent problems of their own that need correcting. No biggie, but I, right now, have the ability of not cutting corners and purchasing clean water and proper nutrients. Thats all I am saying. I wish I was able to collect good rain water.

3 mile island growing here.....maybe thats why?

:peace: Out :joint: ~Boneman
