water pump ?

Just a quick quest. My SH system got here today and checking things out I noticed that the short clear plastic tube that comes out of the pump and that goes to the manifold is very! loose even with the little plastic connector in. I s this right ? it seems that they sent the wrong piece the clear tubing won't stay on the pump at all it just falls off?? Should I just head to the hardware store and find something tighter? or is this normal? Thanks guys can't wait to get it going!! Ol hippy

Naa way too loose won't be able to snug it up,I'll just hit the hardware store and deal with it. Thanks for the reply...

Maybe you have the incorrect size of barb fitting on the pump. The pump usually comes with a couple different size nipples
